Not going to lie, I will miss you on twitter. But I completely understand. 🙂

I completely understand! I often take long breaks from social media, for the same reasons.

You’re incredibly talented, kind, and supportive, I am so proud to call you friend. Taking care of you is the most important thing you can do.

Oh… AND you can begin your sentences however you want! 😁

I’m looking forward to finding out what you do with all that extra time! Lol.

My favorite twitter account for the last couple years is calling it quits. I was tempted to delete mine a couple weeks back, because I use it so seldom for writing connections anymore. I also had not written anything since my last rejection in October. A break from it helped me get back to writing. I do follow you here, and look forward to reading more from you in the future. I will miss your face and your tweets on the twitter machine though. You have always been such a positive presence there.

I’ve just done the same for Lent, for similar reasons. I was beginning to dislike the person I become when I’m on there, almost as though it were rewiring me. Four days later and I don’t miss it at all.

For me, Twitter is very depressing, and takes a lot of joy from me that I would normally experience without it. As of today, WordPress and Twitter are my only social-media platforms and I’ve arrived at the point where I want to delete Twitter. The only reason I keep it is that I invested much time with cross-posting and even if I don’t visit the platform and tweet, cross-posting may expand my audience. I find too much anger, negativity and garbage tweets on that site to be of any use to me and my endeavors. I hope you have a great day.
